Uzbekistan-Malaysia: promising directions of cooperation were discussed
On September 23-27 of this year, the delegation headed by the Chairman of the Uzbekistan-Malaysia Business Council Lim Chin Fui is on a practical visit to Uzbekistan.
The Uzbekistan-Malaysia Business Council, as a separate organization, is responsible for ensuring the implementation of the agreements reached during the visit of the Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim to Uzbekistan in May of this year, and for re-establishing mutual cooperation between the two countries in trade, economic, investment, tourism and other fields. was established and registered with the state in order to provide close assistance to Malaysian and Uzbek entrepreneurs in their development.
As part of the visit, a roundtable discussion "Uzbekistan-Malaysia" will be held today at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the participation of more than 50 representatives of the business circles of the two countries working in the fields of construction, energy resources processing, oil and gas, confectionery and healthcare. tdi
Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Dilshod Rasulov, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Malaysia to Uzbekistan Ilham Tua bin Illias took part in it.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the development of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries and on increasing the volume of export and import.
Also, a representative of the Foreign Investment Attraction Agency under the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan made a presentation about the investment potential of our country.
During the interview, D. Rasulov made a proposal to create an electronic investment platform between Malaysia and the Central Asian countries, and it was approved by representatives of the foreign business community and it was agreed to start this platform.
According to the results of the negotiations, further joint actions aimed at expanding mutually beneficial investment cooperation between the two countries were determined.
