Small description

Carrots were first cultivated 3,000 years ago and are extremely valuable food due to their high content of carbohydrates, well-digested nitrogenous substances, vitamins, enzymes, aromatic substances and mineral salts, calcium, phosphorus, etc.

Carrots are rich in carbohydrates (up to 8%) and carotene, the amount of which goes up to 20 mg%. Therefore, vitamin A is the main raw material for obtaining. Rich in minerals. Carrots have long been used in the treatment of diseases of the liver, kidneys, gastrointestinal tract, anemia. Daucarin is obtained from carrot seeds, which is used in the treatment of heart disease.

Sowing dates. Spring term; February 15-30 in the southern provinces; March 1-15 in the central regions; March 15-30 in the northern regions. Summer term: August 1-15 in the southern regions; June 10 to July 10 in the central regions; June 10-20 in the northern regions. December 15-30 in the southern regions; November 10 in the central regions; December 10; November 1-30 in the northern regions.
