Uzbekistan – Tourist Destination 2025 (BBC Travel)

An article titled "Uzbekistan Entered the List of Best Tourist Destinations for 2025" has been published in the Jordanian newspaper "Ammon News," reported by the correspondent of IA "Dunyo."

It states that Uzbekistan has been included in the list of the best tourist destinations for 2025 according to the global information portal BBC Travel.

It is noted that Uzbekistan is actively investing in new railway lines, domestic flights, and cultural sites to attract tourists, which has led the country to be ranked among the 25 best travel destinations for 2025.

"These destinations were selected in cooperation with leading tourism organizations such as the United Nations World Tourism Organization, the International Organization for Sustainable Tourism, the Black Tourism Alliance, and the World Travel and Tourism Council. Countries in the list include the USA, Canada, Japan, Italy, Australia, Morocco, the UK, and others. Uzbekistan ranked 16th," the publication states.

The newspaper mentions that in September 2025, Uzbekistan will host its first international biennale of contemporary design and crafts in Bukhara. "Among other key cultural innovations, the portal highlights the construction of a new building for the State Art Museum, designed by the famous architect Tadao Ando, as well as the reconstruction of the Romanov Palace," the article says.

"Since May 2024, citizens of more than 90 countries, including the UK, Canada, and Australia, can visit Uzbekistan without a visa. The President of Uzbekistan announced his intention to create a global laboratory for 'green' tourism to combine the country’s commitment to a 'green' economy and tourism development. Border crossings with neighboring countries have become easier," the "Ammon News" newspaper concludes.
