Laser is a variety of long-grain white rice, the grain is transparent, contains a minimum amount of starch, and resembles Basmati rice in appearance. It cooks quickly enough, keeps its shape well, does not crumble and does not boil soft, and increases by 2-3 times during cooking. Grown historically in Khorezm. What kind of names did not have rice. It was called both "oriza" and "Saracen grain". Its history is estimated more than ten thousand years. For the first time they began to cultivate it in the Middle East, and then it has already become popular in many countries, and especially in Asia. With the change of centuries, the cereal has also changed, dozens of its varieties have appeared. In Uzbekistan, for example, Laser rice is grown, which is a subspecies of white, but only with transparent grain.
