Small description

Description: Hosui is a species of Japanese origin (belonging to the family P.Pyrifolia, Ri-14 (Kikusui x Yakumo) x Yakumo). The growth rate of the tree is strong in the early years, then medium, spreading, prone to bacterial blight and bacterial canker (Pseudomonas syringae). Demand for cold is moderate. Flowering and pollination is early-medium, the flowers are large, pollinated by Kosui, Shinsui varieties. Harvest time is medium, full, ripens 135-145 days after flowering, fruit storage period is 3-4 months.

Fruit weight: 250 - 300 g

Yield: 150-170 cwt / ha.
