Daewoo International (currently POSCO Daewoo Corporation), a South Korean corporation, launched the POSCO International Textile company in 1996 in Uzbekistan. “POSCO International Textile” is a cutting-edge, innovative business that produces fabrics and yarns from the finest grades of cotton that are farmed in Uzbekistan.

POSCO includes four manufacturing facilities spread over the cities of Fergana and Bukhara and Tashlak and Kumtepa villages. The company creates cotton fabrics for interior, clothing, and other uses as well as carded and combed spun yarn composed of 100% cotton or cotton polyester blends. Every product manufactured at POSCO group fully complies with global quality requirements.

"POSCO International Textile" is a modern dynamic enterprise that specializes in production of textile products: cotton rough fabrics and yarn, using the best grades of cotton, grown in Uzbekistan as raw materials.

Products meet international quality standards, and are made from 100% cotton. The company "Posco International Textile" is located in the south of the Ferghana Valley in the eastern part of Uzbekistan and has 4 manufacturing factories located in the city of Fergana, the villages of Tashlak, Kumtepa and a branch in the city of Bukhara.

The company was founded in April 1996 by the South Korean Corporation "Daewoo International"(later Posco Daewoo), which invested in development of textile production about 150 million US dollars. Nowadays, thanks to the competent policy, the Company has achieved high results in the development and modernization of weaving and spinning production, in improving the management and organization economic activities of company.
