"DEHKANABAD POTASH PLANT" JSC

Dehkanabad Potash Plant JSC was built in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 17, 2007 No. PP-748 "On construction of Dehkanabad Potash Fertilizer Plant on the basis of Tepakoton Potassium Salts Deposit.

In accordance with the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 432-f of July 6, 2011 on the establishment of the State Commission for the commissioning of the plant and No. 684-F of October 27, 2011 "On approval of the act of the State Commission" 1321 new jobs were officially launched.‌‌

In accordance with the Resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-1072 of March 12, 2009 and PQ-1442 of December 15, 2010, the project and feasibility study for the construction of the second stage of increasing the capacity of the Dehkanabad Potash Fertilizer Plant to 600,000 tons were developed. According to the decision No. PQ-1642 dated 27.11.2011, the feasibility study (TEO) was approved.

The Chinese company SITIK has a production capacity of $ 116,306,000 and an annual production capacity of 400,000 tons. Phase II processing complex was built and put into operation.

In August 2010, as a result of the launch of the largest industrial enterprise in Central Asia, specializing in the production of potassium fertilizers in Dehkanabad district, the import of this type of product to our country was stopped. Uzbekistan is one of the few countries in the world with the potential to produce three key elements for the development of agriculture - phosphorus, nitrogen and potassium fertilizers.‌‌
