Uzbekistan’s first female karate world champion

Yesterday, on November 30, Uzbek karate athlete Gulshan Alimardonova won the world championship title in the -50 kg weight category at the World Championship held in Cairo, Egypt. With this achievement, she became the first Uzbek female karate athlete to become a world champion.

Gulshan Alimardonova confidently defeated all her opponents on the way to the final and maintained her dominance in the final match.

It is noteworthy that, until now, only Dostonbek Otabolayev had become a world champion and entered history as Uzbekistan’s first world karate champion. Now, Gulshan Alimardonova has become the first Uzbek female karate athlete to win the world championship title.
