Uzbekistan increased watermelon exports by 67.7%

According to preliminary data from the State Committee on Statistics, in January–June 2025, Uzbekistan exported 130.6 thousand tons of watermelons worth 29.9 million USD.

The export volume increased by 52.7 thousand tons compared to the same period last year.

In the first half of 2025, the main destinations for Uzbekistan's watermelon exports were:

— Russia – 66 thousand tons
— Kazakhstan – 44 thousand tons
— Kyrgyzstan – 19 thousand tons
— Republic of Belarus – 968 tons
— Mongolia – 618 tons
— Latvia – 76 tons
— Georgia – 66 tons
— Poland – 61 tons
— Other countries – 121 tons
