Uzbekistan Hosts Kuwaiti Business Delegation for Bilateral Forum
From October 15 to 21, 2024, the Republic of Uzbekistan is hosting a high-level delegation of Kuwaiti business leaders, headed by the Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait.

On October 16, the Uzbekistan-Kuwait Business Forum, accompanied by bilateral B2B meetings, was successfully convened. The forum brought together approximately 100 representatives from the business sectors of both nations, spanning industries such as information technology, tourism, chemicals, healthcare, and food production.

It is worth noting that in 2023, the trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Kuwait amounted to USD 11 million, reflecting the growing economic partnership between the two countries.

The forum was officially inaugurated by Mr. Dilshad Rasulov, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, and Mr. Ahmed Mansour Khalaf Al-Alaj, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait.

The event featured active participation from various Uzbek ministries and government bodies, whose representatives delivered insightful presentations outlining the vast potential for entrepreneurial collaboration, investment opportunities, and enhanced trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Kuwait.

In the aftermath of the forum, bilateral B2B meetings were held between business leaders from both countries, further solidifying efforts to promote deeper cooperation and mutual benefit in key sectors of interest.
