The Second Strategic Dialogue Summit Between Central Asia and the Gulf Countries to Be Held in Samarkand
Tashkent, Uzbekistan – The second Strategic Dialogue Summit between Central Asian countries and the Gulf nations is planned to take place in Samarkand in 2025.
This was announced by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bahrom Aloev.
It is worth noting that on April 15, a meeting of the foreign ministers of Central Asia and the Gulf countries was held in Tashkent.
During the summit, the heads of foreign affairs ministries discussed cooperation in political, economic, investment, and other areas.
They also exchanged views on the situation in Afghanistan, the conflict between Israel and Iran, and other pressing global issues. The parties emphasized their commitment to strengthening interaction based on shared values and mutual interests.
Following the meeting, it was confirmed that Samarkand will host the second Strategic Dialogue Summit between Central Asia and the Gulf countries in 2025.
The foreign ministers' meeting in Tashkent played a crucial role in preparing for this upcoming event.
It should be noted that the first Strategic Dialogue Summit between Central Asia and the Gulf countries was held in Jeddah in July 2023.
