The first Uzbek athlete to become a 3-time Paralympic Games champion

Uzbekistan won 8 gold medals at the Paris Paralympics.

Husniddin Norbekov set a Paralympic record in the shot put with a result of 16.82 meters and took a place at the top of the podium.

It is noteworthy that the flag bearer of the delegation became the first Uzbek athlete to win the Paralympic Games 3 times. Norbekov was unmatched in Rio-2016 and Tokyo-2020.

The number of medals of the delegation of Uzbekistan reached 17 - 8 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze.
