Preparations for the IV World Conference on Creative Economy in Uzbekistan

On October 4, 2023, a working group from the Uzbekistan Cultural and Art Development Fund, led by Advisor to the Chairman Elmurod Najimov, held negotiations in Indonesia as part of the preparations for the IV World Conference on Creative Economy.

A meeting took place with the Indonesian Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno, along with his deputies and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. The discussions focused on the preparations for the IV World Conference on Creative Economy, which will be held in Uzbekistan in 2024.

Additionally, the upcoming visit of an Indonesian delegation to Uzbekistan was discussed, during which a memorandum of understanding is planned to be signed between the two institutions.

The working visit coincided with participation in the international discussion forum "Friends of Creative Economy" (FCE) on the topic of "Building and Providing Strong Strategic Support for the Creative Economy." Key specialists in creative economy from over 35 countries participated in the event.
