About MebelExpo Uzbekistan 2025

The 21th Anniversary edition of the major exhibition of the furniture and woodworking industries of Uzbekistan “MebelExpo Uzbekistan” will be held in Tashkent on February 25–27 2025.

Rapid construction of residential complexes, social infrastructure facilities, office buildings and business centers determine the high and stable demand for woodworking products and ready furniture. To date, around 90% of the total market capacity is satisfied by domestic furniture. There are more than 5,000 companies manufacturing furniture, materials, components, as well as woodworking enterprises in the country, more than 300,000 people are employed in the industry. Over the last decade, a range of manufactured products has significantly expanded, quality and design have improved in accordance with the global trends, import volumes are also increasing.

To facilitate further growth of the domestic furniture manufacture and reduce costs, as well as to enhance competitiveness of domestic products the Resolution according to which from February 1, 2023 to January 1, 2024, the import of raw materials, spare parts, fittings and accessories used in the furniture manufacture is subject to a zero customs duty rate was adopted.

International Exhibition “Production Technologies. Woodworking. Furniture and accessories. - MebelExpo Uzbekistan” is the largest trade exhibition, which annually becomes the main showcase and the platform for effective dialogue for all industry professionals in the region.

Since 2004, world-famous brands: furniture manufacturers, suppliers of equipment, components, interior and design specialists have been gathering here to demonstrate and discuss new collections, innovative solutions and the best samples of the furniture industry and production technologies.

For many years, the business format of the exhibition, focused mainly on the b2b segment, allows demonstrating the operation of woodworking machines and tools from the leading world manufacturers in action to a professional audience; establishing contacts with well-known manufacturers of components, raw materials and finished furniture, as well as receiving professional advice and expertise; finding dealers or end customers in the huge consumer market of the region with a population exceeding 36 million people.
