How many cocoons produced? Who leads?

According to the Statistics Committee, in January–June 2025 a total of 30.1 thousand tons of silkworm cocoons were produced in the republic.

This figure increased by 0.4% compared to the same period in 2024.

The volume of cocoons produced by regions:

Republic of Karakalpakstan – 1.0 thousand tons

Andijan region – 3.9 thousand tons

Bukhara region – 3.2 thousand tons

Jizzakh region – 0.9 thousand tons

Kashkadarya region – 2.9 thousand tons

Navoi region – 1.3 thousand tons

Namangan region – 2.5 thousand tons

Samarkand region – 3.9 thousand tons

Surkhandarya region – 2.3 thousand tons

Syrdarya region – 0.7 thousand tons

Tashkent region – 2.1 thousand tons

Fergana region – 2.9 thousand tons

Khorezm region – 2.5 thousand tons
