Potassium nitrate is used for the production of gunpowder, in pyrotechnics, in the food and glass industries.
In terms of importance for plants, potash fertilizers are in third place after nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers. A sufficient level of potassium in the soil contributes to a significant weakening of the influence of negative weather phenomena.

Technical potassium nitrate is transported in covered railway wagons, in closed deck vessels and covered vehicles in accordance with the rules for the carriage of goods applicable to this type of transport
