The U.S. has extended the permit for Uzbek saffron

The FDA permit is a key document required for the legal sale of Uzbek saffron products in the U.S. market.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) had previously granted a permit to "BMB HOLDING" for its "BMB Opera Zafferano" enterprise, allowing the export of saffron products to the United States. Now, the validity of this permit has been extended.

After a thorough evaluation of the processes at the saffron plantation in Baxmal district of Jizzakh region — including planting, cultivation, timely agro-technical activities, harvesting, processing, storage, and packaging — the "BMB Shifo" enterprise was deemed eligible for this document.

For reference: The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) is a U.S. government agency responsible for ensuring the safety and efficacy of food, drugs, medical, cosmetic, and biological products. The organization guarantees that products do not harm human health and meet established standards.
